Boo!

When the five-year-old decorates, all the things go in one spot.  And why not.

When the five-year-old decorates, all the things go in one spot.  And why not.

I haven't forgotten about you, people of the Internet.   I am currently one week into my second cold of the past month, which is exactly as fun as it sounds.  I've been coping by being really melodramatic about it, claiming any chance I get that I'm on death's door and we should probably say our goodbyes.  It is weirdly uplifting.

What this means though is that I am behind on some things, including the blog post I had intended for today, so my return will have to wait until next week, when (pretty please) I will have stopped coughing long enough to string two coherent thoughts together.  Despite the attack of all things on my rather useless immune system, my hiatus has served its necessary purpose of allowing me to get my head on straight and establish a routine so I can do a better job of giving my best to all priorities moving forward.  I have several new posts in mind along with new ideas for improving this site, and I'm excited to get back to it.

Next week.

If I survive.

Tell my children I love them.
